Regardless to what you have done in your past, God can use you.
There is nothing that is too terrible that you have done that would make God cast you to the side and deem you unusable.
Remember the Apostle Paul (once known as Saul)? He was a Christian killer.
Yes. Paul went around persecuting Christians and killing them. He killed women, children, and men, and Jesus ended up using Paul in a mighty way.
One day, Paul (then called Saul) was on his way to Damascus to kill more Christians, and as he got near to Damascus, God intervened in his life (Acts 9:3-9).
Paul had an encounter with God that changed him and the direction of his life.
Always remember this: Your past does not dictate your destiny.
Paul wrote some of the Bible. He wrote a lot of the New Testament as well as he established the New Testament church. And not only that, but Paul also healed a lot of people and led many people to Jesus as well. You can read about all this concerning Paul in the book of Acts.
So, don’t count yourself out. God can use you and God wants to use you. If you do not yet know your purpose, pray, and ask God to reveal it to you, and then once He does, be obedient to the instructions that that He gives you for your life, as Paul did, because it will lead you to your destiny.
After Paul had the encounter with God on the road to Damascus, God told him to go to a man named Ananias house, and Paul trusted God’s directions and he was obedient. Paul was obedient to God time and time again. Again, read the story for yourself because it is a very good one.
In the meantime, be encouraged. God loves you.
