God Said Do Not Slander

Updated: Apr 12, 2024

Earlier today as I ate lunch, God spoke to me and told me not to slander... That was as far as He went with the message, and instantly, I received it in my spirit.

You see, I have a story to tell that I am very anxious to tell the world, and God knows this. And I am going to tell my story. There is no doubt about that.

It will include all that I have gone through regarding this current situation that I am in, as well as include people who are responsible for putting me in this situation. I will detail how I was hurt and will name those individuals who hurt me, as well as their relationship to me.

What I will not do, however, is slander anyone. That is not even in my character to do. I will only speak the truth about everything (as I have been doing) and I am certain that God knows this about me.

The message that God gave me today about slander, I prayed on it, and received the understanding and instruction that even when I tell my story and name persons and describe their evil actions that caused me very serious harm, that I am not to tell it with malicious intent.

This means that I am not to tell my story with the intention of making the people look bad and trying to turn others against them. Now if that happens, there is nothing I can do about it, but it will not be my intention. I certainly will not avoid telling my story because of those possible consequences.

My story is in essence, my testimony, and I am going to share it over and over again, for the glory of God, and to win people to God (I’m a Soul-Winner). I aim to have an impact on people that would inspire and encourage them to change their minds, their hearts, and their lives so that they can stop hurting people (for those that do).

I believe in sharing my story/my testimony, that people will be motivated to improve the quality of their lives and live purpose-filled lives guided by God, instead of lives guided by Satan.

So, my message to everyone today is, be careful not to slander anyone because it is wicked, and it causes harm. Slander is not of God.

Be encouraged! God loves you.

Love and peace,

Yolanda Billingslea (Ms. B)
